Hello, and thank you for visiting my website! My name is Yixiao Li, I am an Information Science graduate with a Master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and I received my Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Zhengzhou University. My undergraduate thesis focused on Computer-Aided Diagnosis of Liver Fibrosis Staging Based on Ultrasound Images, which sparked my passion for leveraging technology to solve complex real-world problems.
Currently, I work as a Course Coordinator for the Master of Data Science Program at the University of Pittsburgh. In this role, I facilitate course operations, support instructional teams, and ensure a smooth learning experience for students. After graduating from Pitt, I also joined the Center for Applied Research on Targeted Violence as a volunteer Research Associate and was lucky to work with Dr. Michael Miller Yoder on impactful research initiatives.
My work centers on data science, natural language processing, and computational social science, with a focus on applying these technologies to address practical challenges.
